after wearing them for a couple of days as I know it takes a while to break in new boots I realized the pain in my ankle was not going away and had to find an alternative way to tie them up as I do where them on a work site and not able to return. I do not recommend these boots to anyone unfortunately I'm out $$$ and have to stick with them for a year or so. DO NOT PURCHASE THESE BOOTS.
